The children are back and we are starting from the very beginning. Genesis 1& 2 is where we can find God's purpose for our entire lives. With all that's happening today around the country our youth need a sense of purpose more now then ever before.
There are 5 essential lessons in the first 2 chapters of Genesis that show us God's plan for our lives:
- To be filled with his SPIRIT (Gen 2:7)
- To walk in AUTHORITY (Gen 1:26)
- To WORK (Gen 2:15)
- To honor the covenant of MARRIAGE (between MAN & WOMAN) (Gen 2:18)
- To be called into PARENTHOOD (Gen 1:28)
When we choose to walk outside of any of these callings we are choosing to walk away from the purpose for which we were created.
Today's society is crumbling because so many generations have been trained
to walk outside of God's PURPOSE. Our call is to love the LORD your God, paying attention to what he says and clinging to him - for that is the purpose of your life! Deuteronomy 30:20
